| Frequently Asked Questions |
| Q: How often should I work out? A: The key to any successful workout program is information. ALWAYS consult your doctor or physician before beginning any diet or exercise regiment. Q: Will I need to assemble my BodyCraft Machine? A: Yes, assembly is required on BodyCraft Gyms and Accessories. In most cases you will need to provide an adjustable wrench and some patience. The outcome and rewards, however, will be priceless. Q: How should I care for my machine? A: It is always advisable to wipe the machine's body padding after use, to prevent the spreading of germs. As for your machine, a light wiping with a dry cloth every other week should keep it dust free and well. Q: How do weight plates differ from a weight stack? A: Free weight plates are traditionally used with weightlifting bars on traditional weight benches. They usually come in plate sizes from 5lbs to 50lbs, even up to 100lbs. A weight stack, however, is comprised of a set amount of weights, commonly set at 10lb incriments. For example, if a machine comes with a 200lb weight stack, it comes with a 10lb default plate that is the minimum you can use. There are then nineteen 10lb plates that you can use to adjust the weights to the desired lift. So, 50lbs = 4(10.lb plates) + Minimum plate. Machines that use free weight plates, can add the plates in the denominations that the plates are designated in. (5lb, 10lb, 25lb, etc.) Q: Are all the machines suitable for use by anyone? A: All BodyCraft Machines are designed to be used by everyone from the novice, to the professional. Different machines do, however, appeal to different people, and offer more in certain arenas you might like to train for. It is best that you consult your physician or doctor to see what your goals are, or should be, then choose a machine that would benefit you the most. Q: How much space will I require for my BodyCraft Machine? A: Most of the machines have been designed to conserve space to allow the user to fit other items (treadmills, stair climbers, cardio machines, etc.) into their work out space. Some of the larger models (The Family Xpress especially) requires sufficient space to be able to operate all stations properly. When possible, all unit measurements have been provided on their respective pages. Q: Do the Machines come fully equipped? A: Each BodyCraft Machine does come with certain stations and abilities, but in many cases, some require attachments to achieve another dimension of the workout. Each machine's accessories are listed with the respective pages, and can be ordered there as well. Q: Does the Power Cage come fully equipped? A: The Power Cage allows you to construct your own home gym and weight lift station, so you will need to purchase certain attachments for it. All information is listed on the Power Cage page. Q: Where are the BodyCraft Gyms assembled? A: The BodyCraft Gyms are assembled in Taiwan. |
